At the official World of Warcraft forum, the question on the further development of skills and Riding related to its gold cost was raised again. Blizzard representative confirmed: in Wrath of the Lich King addon riding skill unchanged, and the fastest means of transport will remain flying epic mounts. Anyway savings are always useful, so go on farming :)
